Great food the wait was a lit tee ke long but we had a very nice waitress! Definitely reccomend!!!

I really like the Wagon Wheel. I would have awarded five stars, but the portions on the breakfast menu seem to have shrunk a bit from the when I visited last year. Good, friendly service, reasonable prices, and funky pine-and plowshares decor. Clean, and the locals love the place. Good luck finding a parking space on a weekend morning. Last time there, our waitress called both my brother and I "Hon," which I find charming. It's an Upstate thing. You don't visit Ticonderoga to take in the high-end dining scene. This is bacon and eggs, pancakes, and coffee that may be a little rough around the edges for those accustomed to a skim-milk latte. Your cup will never be empty, however.

What a friendly group of people. Large portions and great prices but there was a few weak spots. The fried fish was nice a crispy but it came with canned, ice cold and limp green beans, the home cut french fries were so limp and soggy they were almost uneatable. Might go back if I'm in the area and give it a second try.

I was disappointed with this meal. It took over 30 minutes for our food to be brought out and most everything was frozen food that was fried. The vegetables were terrible. Other than the mozzarella sticks, everything was so-so. I would not eat here again.

Pros: the atmosphere/decor was nice. House cut fries were an option (and they were good)Cons: food was gross, seemed like it was made from the cheapest ingredients possible - nothing homemade. I get it's listed as a diner, not a restaurant per se .. but still. Also, the waitresses were nice but a little too attentive honestly. Three different ladies came over to our table through the course of the meal. The one that was checking for drink refills would hover over the table to check the cups..no subtlety. I get they're trying to take good care of the guests, but it felt like you were constantly being watched through the meal.

Sublime Burger, perfectly cooked and the barbeque sauce was delicious. The staff were all very friendly.

Great food very fresh tasting only issue was it seemed to take a while to get our order, it was worth the wait we were not in a rush anyway. Very nice staff as well.

Was hoping for a quick dinner that wasn't fast food. This place was recommended. Staff was friendly throughout. However, I ordered the pork special. I got turkey instead. The meat is very processed - what I call slab meat. The mashed potatoes were out of a box and the corn from a can. The stuffing was decent but the gravy was very salty. The salad was relatively fresh. No cutlery or napkins were in my bag when opened it. All this for the low price of $13.99! I was very disappointed. I will not be back.

Great meal of pan seared scallops with green beans, wild rice & salad. Friendly wait staff. The fried chicken I was craving, but didn't give in to, looked and sounded delicious as the man across from us crunched away.

The food was ok but the service wasn't good. As a party of 6, they took the liberty of adding the 20% gratuity and it showed they weren't working for it. Ordered pie upon recommendation of a customer leaving when we ordered but it sold out while we were eating our lunch so no pie and that didn't matter since I paid the automatic gratuity.

The staff was super friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced. Overall a very enjoyable stop for lunch during a road trip.

We have eaten here frequently in over a 10 year period. The food excellent and plentiful. They have daily specials. I would call it better than home cooking. Roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and lot of gravy. If you want burgers, they got them. They are competitively priced slightly higher than the fast food places down the road. The meals are not as quick but only take ten to fifteen minutes depending on what you order. If you order the special it comes quicker. It's real restaurant.
